Ten Thousand Hours inspire women to become changeMAKERS
Our client builds brands that people love. We already love Yahoo!, Aol and Huffpost brands but lesser-known MAKERS is doing something extraordinary. Dubbed a feminist media brand, MAKERS sets out to tell the stories of trailblazing women and inspire changeMAKERS of tomorrow.
In raising the MAKERS brand profile in United Kingdom, our client asked Ten Thousand Hours to engage and activate the most senior women from the fields of advertising and communications, marketing and media at Women in Advertising and Communications, London (WACL) Gather event.
Our idea? Simply to have informed conversations with attendees, identify common goals and encourage attendees to pledge a change themselves. And to manifest the pledge, a large-format MAKERS branded display would compile participant Polaroid photos and handwritten pledges inspiring others to read and participate.
Working in partnership with our client team and WACL, Ten Thousand Hours led the project design, production build and installation with conversations led by our partner brand ambassadors generating over 200 pledges and crucially, accelerating awareness within this exclusive and highly influential community.
